| BPI (Brazilian Pollinators Initiative) received from FAO a support through a Letter of Agreement with FUSP (Fundação de Apoio à Universidade de São Paulo) in order to prepare a workshop to identify and consolidate survey methods for bee pollinators in Brazil. Indeed, this workshop will take this objective a step further, to develop a Standard Methodology Workshop for assessing the status and values of pollinators that can be used in other countries, and not just for the Brazilian situation. | ||||||

Standard methodologies workshop will take place at the Golden Tower Hotel, the official hotel of the Forum. Reservations with Golden Tower Hotel must be done before October 17th 2003. Pollinator Initiatives and the role of IT will take place at the Polytechnic School - University of São Paulo. |
